You will lead the definition, architecture, and visualization of Network Demand's (NetDM's) metrics portfolio across three core levels: Strategic (executive decision-making and long-term planning goals), Diagnostic (root-cause analysis, variance tracking, and forecast accuracy drivers), and Operational (day-to-day lifecycle tracking, cycle times, and workflow execution). You will build and maintain the reporting dashboards and visualization tools necessary to pull, synthesize, and display this data cleanly for stakeholders. Leveraging scripting (SQL, Python, Appscript, etc.) and Google's AI tools, you will automate metric data collection and workflow tasks to ensure high data quality and timely reporting. integrate organizational strategies into forecasting models to surface insights and guide critical infrastructure decisions.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives toward autonomous planning, evaluating new forecasting methodologies to deliver accuracy and reduce end-to-end planning cycle times.\nPartner with Google’s product areas to translate evolving network requirements into operationalized demand processes for new and existing network products.\nCollaborate across Google Global Infrastructure product, data science, engineering, and planning teams to balance competing priorities, align on shared OKRs, and seamlessly scale Google’s global network.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience in program management.\nExperience with demand planning or forecasting.\nExperience working with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, R, etc.) and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy, Business Objects, etc.).\nPreferred qualifications:\n5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.\nExperience with demand planning, network
