- $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nLead system software development programs, including system software for NPIs (i.e., new data center products, with initial focus on TPU and GPU programs) and infrastructure SW programs focusing on improving software quality, efficiency and reliability of Google production fleet. \nDemonstrate ownership and deep technical judgment, identifying risks, ensuring end to end design alignment and high quality SW systems. \nMove beyond execution and task management to identify opportunities for process and architecture/design improvements, ensuring improvements and learnings, re-engineer development, qualification and deployment frameworks, defining and operationalizing process improvements and automation to achieve repeatable results.\nNavigate ambiguity to align leadership across internal and external organizations, driving consensus on complex initiatives.\nLead a highly cross-functional team, navigate technical and organizational complexity to drive planning, execution and land products.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience in program management.\nPreferred qualifications:\n8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.\nKnowledge of or experience with NPI development, firmware, driving SW quality and process transformation.\nExperience in software engineering, as a developer or development manager, with a strong understanding of SW development processes, tools, SW test/qualification, release methodologies.\nExcellent program management skills, with the demonstrated ability to successfully drive and land SW programs.\nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical
