About the job

We are seeking a senior Fire Safety Engineering Lead to direct the regional governance, audit, and validation of fire and life safety programs across our EMEA portfolio. In this role, you will act as the regional technical authority within the EHS organization, partnering closely with the Real Estate team to evaluate physical risks and establish practical, scalable safety frameworks. This position requires deep engineering fluency to audit, validate, and provide robust technical oversight of external consultancies, review architectural and MEP design packages, and govern life safety standards across complex high-rises, research laboratories, and large event operations.

As a senior technical leader within the team, you will drive excellence and strategic resilience across the region, providing authoritative fire engineering governance, quality assurance, and audit oversight throughout the EMEA footprint.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Standardize and govern a regional Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) program, executing quality assurance audits on third-party assessments.
  • Serve as regional SME translating for example UK standards (Approved Document B, BS 9999/9991) alongside international codes (NFPA 101/5000, UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, German standards).
  • Work with fire engineering consultancies and risk assessors under performance SLAs to ensure deliverable quality.
