Google.\nResponsibilities\nLead a team of individuals, meeting regularly to discuss performance, development, and provide feedback and coaching, and set and communicate individual and team priorities.\nManage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity.\nUnderstand Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, and build tools for faster diagnosis.\nAct as a consultant and subject matter expert for stakeholders in developing, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.\nWork as part of a team of developers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support, which includes sometimes working non-standard work hours or shifts.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.\n13 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process).\n13 years of experience with 2 or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.\nExperience reading code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript) or in system design.\nExperience with Linux/Unix or a related operating system (e.g., Kernel to Shell, file systems, client-server protocols, etc.).\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience administering and querying data in distributed, columnar or analytic oriented databases or distributed data processing frameworks.\nExperience with open source distributed storage and processing utilities in the Apache Hadoop family or workflow orchestration products (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Beam).\nExperience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, data science, or other Big Data applications.\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc).\nKnowledge of basic web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, etc).\nExcellent attention to detail, troubleshooting, and written and verbal communication
