You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.\nYou will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.\nThis role serves as a key technical catalyst and strategic liaison, empowering global partners to successfully integrate their hardware and services with the Google Home platform. Combining application-level development expertise with deep systems engineering knowledge, the individual will guide partners through complex designs and lead critical initiatives to port and optimize Google software modules and core libraries onto third-party (3P) devices and chipsets. They will accelerate partner onboarding by building custom developer tools, test suites, and high-quality technical resources like sample code and documentation. Working at the intersection of hardware and software, they will collaborate closely with Google’s Core Engineering teams to advocate for partner feedback, troubleshoot system-level bottlenecks, and drive bug resolution.\nThe Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.Responsibilities\nUnderstand partner use cases and offer insights and recommendations on solution design, development, tooling and integration.\nBuild samples, codelabs and documentation to support partners integrations with Google Home devices and/or platforms.\nPartner closely with the Software Engineering team to communicate technical feedback from partners, resolve bugs or integration problems.
