This position develops and distributes training materials as well as designs, delivers, and evaluates the effectiveness of courses and materials. This position reports directly to the Director Lab and Quality.\nCritical Factors for Success:\nDesign, monitor and identify improvement opportunities in the site master training plan to ensure quality training of new and existing employees.\nEvaluate the quality and content of training courses and provide feedback as appropriate to provide the best quality training to employees.\nConduct needs assessments and develop training content alongside subject matter experts (SME) to ensure employees have all the information they need to safely and knowledgeably perform their jobs.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and deliver training on operational procedures, safety requirements and responsibilities, quality processes, and environmental standards and procedures utilizing the Intelex system\nDeliver new hire orientation and new hire plant operator training\nBuild and support a network of operational trainers; organize \"Train the Trainer\" sessions, provide direction on training needs, and continue to coach and develop them\nMonitor and maintain accurate training records, interpret training metrics and follow up on metrics findings/actions\nContribute to the training strategy and the development of specialized training development plans to operations leadership and training team\nPrepare and deliver training materials, job aids, presentations, CBT (computer based training), etc. in multiple media forums\nPlan training courses and collaborate with external vendors on customized training programs\nConduct post-training evaluation to identify successes and improvement opportunities\nPrepare, deliver, and support audits\nOther duties and special projects as assigned by management\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited school plus at least 3 years’ previous work experience with the development and delivery of training to industrial front-line workforce in manufacturing setting ORan Associate’s Degree in Communication, Training, Education, HR, Instructional Design, or related field from accredited school\nPrevious work experience with supporting or executing various training delivery methods including classroom, virtual classroom, and eLearning\nPrevious work experience as user or administrator of an Learning Management System\nDemonstrated ability to conduct training needs and gap analysis\nTechnical proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills\nCompelling presence and effective public speaking skills to large groups in both classroom and field settings\nAbility and willingness to occasionally adjust work schedule to accommodate training support for a 24-7 workforce\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Communication, Training, Education, HR, Instructional Design, or related field from accredited College or University preferred, but not required\nPrevious work experience with Quality Management Software (like Intelex) preferred, but not required\nPrevious experience with video editing preferred, but not required\nPhysical Requirements:\nWillingness and ability to wear a full-face respirator mask directly against skin (e.g. clean shaven if applicable), work in a hot/high temperature production facility, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas with or without reasonable accommodation\nWillingness and ability to comply with safety protocols and company-provided decontamination measures which include utilizing private shower facilities upon leaving the plant environment with or without reasonable accommodation\nCompensation & Benefits:\n Salary Range: $76,632 - $122,408. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive plan which is determined by the achievement of strategic objectives.
