This role supports applications engineering, by creating accurate and precise drawings for wind load applications, job shop drawings, part drawings and manufacturing assembly drawings.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software based on specifications and design requirements.\nCreate Certified Wind Load drawings for tested product.\nCreate part and assembly drawings.\nReview and interpret technical sketches, blueprints, and specifications.\nEnsure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.\nRevise and update drawings as needed based on feedback or design changes.\nMaintain organized records of part drawings and project documentation.\nCollaborate with engineers, project managers, sales and other team members to resolve design issues.\nPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION\nAssociate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Design, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).\nProficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks is a plus).\nStrong understanding of drafting standards and practices.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities\nREQUIREMENTS/SKILLS\nProficiency in AutoCAD with strong ability to create detailed 2D drawings, templates, and technical documents.\nStrong mechanical drafting abilities, including part drawings, exploded views, and assembly drawings.\nFamiliarity with job shop and manufacturing drawings, including fabrication details, tolerances, materials, and hardware specifications.\nAbility to interpret engineering calculations and translate them into clear, accurate drafting outputs.\nWorking knowledge of drafting standards, dimensioning practices, revision control, and documentation procedures.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple drawing types and project requirements.\nEffective communication skills for collaborating with engineers, technicians, and production teams.\nAbility to manage multiple drafting tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work independently and take on project ownership.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.\nMust be able to navigate all areas of the manufacturing
