You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.\nWork Shift:\nJob Description:\nPRIMARY DUTIES\nUnder the guidance of the Electrical Engineering Manager and electrical engineers, conceptualize, and develop material handling products using sound electrical engineering principles\nAdhere to suitable design and documentation practices and methodologies\nSupport internal and external customers in product use and application as required\nSupport vendors in product and sub-component fabrication as required\nAdhere to project timelines and budgets\nParticipate in Product Development department and company projects as assigned\nParticipate in functional and accelerated life tests to ensure product reliability and performance\nSECONDARY DUTIES\nProvide support and documentation to enable company staff to quote and source materials\nParticipate in the identification and recommendation of new material handling technology solutions\nServe as a technical resource to other departments as required\nSPECIFIC DUTIES\nDevelop and maintain organized design documentation\nCreate and maintain CAD product detail drawings, adhering to suitable standards\nCreate and maintain product bills of material and routings\nExecute engineering change notices as required\nAssist in design and documentation of new and revised electrical circuits\nProvide technical assistance both within and outside the department\nAssist in the design and fabrication of test fixtures\nAssist in the design and fabrication of new product prototype units\nAssist in the testing of new products and revisions including functional, accelerated life, abusive and ultimate tests and prepare associated test reports\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEnrollment in a 4 year Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology degree program\nHighly motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines and high quality requirements\nStrong communication skills (Verbal & Written)\nProblem solving skills\nDESIRED EXPERIENCE\nFamiliarity with test engineering processes/electrical test procedures\nSolidworks/AutoCAD\nMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
