You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.\nWork Shift:\nJob Description:\nAt Gorbel, payroll is more than processing paychecks. It's about ensuring employees are paid accurately, benefits are administered seamlessly, and compliance is maintained across a growing organization. We're looking for a payroll analyst who thrives on accuracy, enjoys solving complex challenges, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience.\nResponsibilities:\nProcess weekly and bi-weekly payroll for US employees across three companies in Workday.\n\nProcess bi-weekly payroll for Canadian employees in ADP Teams Pay Canada.\n\nResponsible for payroll invoices and all tax reporting in ADP Smart Compliance.\n\nManage payroll taxes, garnishments, quarterly and year end reporting, and compliance requirements.\n\nServe as the Workday payroll subject matter expert, maintaining payroll configurations tax settings and integrations.\n\nEnsure accurate processing of benefits, leave of absences, disability payments and retirement contributions.\n\nPrepare payroll reports, perform reconciliations, and support audits.\n\nCollaborate with Finance, HR and external partners to continuous improve payroll processes and maintain regulatory compliance.\n\nQualifications:\nAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business\n\n5+ years of experience in payroll processing\n\nExceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.\n\nStrong knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits administration and compliance.\n\nExperience with Workday payroll and ADP Smart Compliance preferred.\n\nProficient in O365 suite of products including Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.\n\nExperience working with ERP preferred.\n\nADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs\nSitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time\nPrimary work environment is professional corporate office\nGorbel® is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
