There's a seat at our table for you...\nPosition Summary:\nThe Accounts Receivable Supervisor supervises the Accounts Receivable team within Finance Shared Services, providing oversight of core functions including cash application, reconciliation, and the customer deduction management process. Manages all aspects of the team's performance, development, and administrative needs. Identifies opportunities for improvement and works with various departments to develop and execute action plans.\nWhat you will do:\nOversees cash application, deduction processing, and account reconciliation workflows\n\nManages customer inquiries and escalations, providing professional resolution while coaching team members on conflict resolution skills.\n\nCollaborates with Credit and Sales departments to identify continuous improvements, mitigate financial risks, and optimize Order-to-Cash workflows.\n\nInterviews, hires, and develops staff and ensures proper training\n\nEnsures GFS policy and procedures of team are being followed\n\nConducts employee performance review annually and as needed, along with maintaining employee incentive programs\n\nEnsures team and individual completion of work is timely and accurate in order to meet/exceed Department Goals/Metrics\n\nParticipates in the coordination and facilitation of regular team meetings\n\nParticipates in Business Process Review and Alignment\n\nParticipates in projects and system testing\n\nExcellent Customer Service and problem resolution skills\n\nConduct monthly reconciliation, balancing, and variance analysis of accounts.\n\nDemonstrate commitment to business ethics and drive integrity, accountability, collaboration, and trust across the company. Adheres to the mission statement and cornerstone values of Gordon Food Service.\n\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned\n\nWhen you will work:\nMonday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.\n\nHybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.\n\nWhat you'll bring to the table:\nTwo years of previous Accounting experience with a Bachelor's degree or five years of previous Accounting experience without a Bachelor's degree, and one year of previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.\n\nKnowledge of industry trends specific to Shared Services processing.\n\nModerate math skills for use in Excel and analytics.\n\nProblem-solving, comparing, analyzing, coordinating, copying, etc.\n\nReading (standard and technical), writing (business, technical, copy, etc.), speaking (basic, conversational)\n\nCustomer service and relationship building.\n\nSelf-directed, organized, able to meet deadlines, and able to make prioritization assessments.\n\nModerate to advanced Excel knowledge.
