Whether you are an experienced engineer ready for your next step or a senior technical lead looking to drive architectural strategy and vision, we have room for you to make an impact.\nWhat You’ll Do:\n Build & Automate Cloud Systems: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision, manage, and scale performant cloud environments.\nEnable CI/CD: Write and optimize automated pipelines to streamline software builds, testing, and continuous deployment.\nMaintain & Secure Platforms: Ensure system health, monitor network/storage/compute services, and promote \"Shift Left\" security across all platform layers.\nCollaborate & Troubleshoot: Partner closely with application teams to design cloud-ready architectures and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.\nDrive Strategy (Senior Level): Lead domain architectural vision, design long-term roadmaps, manage capacity planning, and lead cross-functional technology projects.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nCore Technical Skills (Both Levels):\n Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nAutomation & IaC: Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.\n Containerization & Private Cloud: Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack, or software-defined networking (VLANs, firewalls, load balancers).\nScripting: Strong scripting abilities in Python, Go, Shell, Ruby, or Perl.\nBuild & Release: Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, and Git version control.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nIntermediate DevOps Cloud Engineer\nExperience: 5+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, DevOps, or system administration.\n Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Required).\nRole Focus: Independent problem-solver focused on building automation, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and maintaining pipeline reliability.\nSenior DevOps Cloud Engineer\nExperience: 7+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, DevOps, or system engineering.\n Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred).\nRole Focus: Technical leader with a track record of driving cloud architecture strategy, capacity planning, and guiding cross-functional teams through complex engineering projects.\nWhen you will work:\nSchedule: Standard office environment with participation in an on-call rotation and occasional weekend work as needed for support.\n Travel: Occasional light travel.\nBE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!\nGordon Food Service values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
