As a SCARS Technician I, you enter the ground floor of an elite crew of craftsmen. This is an entry-level position for a sewer with experience in durable fabrics and technical gear who wants to master the art of heavy-duty repair and manufacturing. We will teach you the GORUCK construction standard, but you must bring the grit, attention to detail, and work ethic required to earn your place on the team. WHAT YOU’LL DO Technical Repair Apprenticeship:Learn and execute standard repairs and customizations on GORUCK gear, apparel, and footwear, ensuring the finished result is always better than when it arrived. Industrial Equipment Operation:Master the setup and operation of industrial sewing machines (Juki), patch presses, and heavy-duty materials like Cordura, canvas, and mil-spec webbing. Queue Tracking & Documentation:Organize, log, and accurately report on your assigned repair pipeline using workshop databases and spreadsheets.
