Taking an idea and making it a reality;\nthinking out of the box to come up with a solution to problems that do not seem to have one;\ntrying new technologies and applying them if they make sense and solve real problems;\nowning technical design for projects of moderate complexity, and understanding the tradeoffs in creating good software in their area;\ncollaborating and build high-quality products by following good engineering practices;\ndesigning technical documentation;\nmentoring and supporting people within the team/organization.\nWe are looking for people who have the following skills and abilities:\nat least 2 years of experience as a Ruby / Ruby on Rails Developer;\nexperience working in Cloud or other large scalable environments;\nunderstanding of best practices in RESTful APIs design;\nexperience in working with Agile methodologies like Scrum;\nknowledge of SQL, NoSQL and other database architectures.\nNice to have:\nknowledge and interest in security, identity, access management, or authentication;\nable to be productive in multiple languages: Python / Flask, Javascript / NodeJS;\nBSc in Computer Science or related field. \nWe expect that you will:\nbe an organized, accountable, responsible, and strong individual contributor who works well with minimal supervision;\nbe self-motivated, self-reliant, resourceful, and communicative.
