The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment and leveraging modern AI-assisted development approaches to accelerate engineering productivity without compromising code quality, security, or reliability.\n\nImmediate joiners are preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nFull-Stack Development:\n\n- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of end-to-end web applications.\n\n- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js / NestJS, and TypeScript.\n\n- Build modern and responsive frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.\n\n- Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.\n\n- Work with MongoDB and Redis for data management, caching, and performance optimization.\n\n- Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, databases, third-party services, and APIs.\n\nAI-Native Engineering:\n\n- Drive adoption of AI-assisted and AI-native software development practices across the engineering lifecycle.\n\n- Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic coding tools to improve development velocity, code quality, testing, and documentation.\n\n- Explore and integrate AI/ML capabilities into marketplace products and engineering workflows.\n\n- Work with AI/ML teams or product stakeholders to integrate intelligent features into applications where relevant.\n\n- Evaluate emerging AI development tools, frameworks, and practices and identify opportunities for engineering productivity improvements.\n\nTechnical Leadership & Module Ownership:\n\n- Provide technical leadership to a team of full-stack developers.\n\n- Take co-ownership of critical product modules, ensuring quality, scalability, reliability, and timely delivery.\n\n- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.\n\n- Mentor developers and establish strong engineering practices.\n\n- Define development standards, coding guidelines, and reusable engineering patterns.\n\n- Identify technical debt and drive continuous improvement.\n\nArchitecture & Scalability:\n\n- Design scalable and resilient microservices and full-stack architectures.\n\n- Define API design, service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, and application architecture.\n\n- Ensure applications are designed for high availability, performance, scalability, and security.\n\n- Evaluate architectural trade-offs and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions.\n\n- Work closely with engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap.\n\nFast & Reliable Delivery:\n\n- Drive fast deployment turnaround through effective development, testing, automation, and CI/CD practices.\n\n- Improve engineering processes to reduce development and release cycle times.\n\n- Ensure rapid delivery without compromising application security, reliability, or maintainability.\n\n- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to streamline release and deployment processes.\n\nInfrastructure & Reliability:\n\n- Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to maintain application availability, performance, and uptime.\n\n- Contribute to AWS architecture and cloud-native application design.\n\n- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.\n\n- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis.\n\n- Ensure applications are resilient and capable of handling increasing traffic and transaction volumes.\n\nEngineering Quality & Security:\n\n- Establish high standards for code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.\n\n- Ensure secure development practices across APIs, applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure.\n\n- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, data protection, and API security mechanisms.\n\n- Drive automated testing and continuous quality improvements.\n\n- Review application performance and identify optimization opportunities.\n\nCollaboration & End-to-End Delivery:\n\n- Collaborate closely with Product, Business, QA, DevOps, Design, Data, and other engineering teams.\n\n- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.\n\n- Own technical delivery from requirement analysis through development, deployment, and production support.\n\n- Communicate project progress, technical risks, dependencies, and architectural decisions to stakeholders.\nSkills\nFull Stack,
