This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.\nRemote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer that will work directly with customers to ensure successful Teleport deployments.\nYou will meet regularly with customers, understand pain points blocking deployments and remove roadblocks. This includes writing and fixing IaC deployments (like Helm charts), developing workarounds, and writing Go code to fix bugs and implement small features.\nFor more complex issues, you will work with customers to articulate the problem they are trying to solve, gather requirements, and make the business case to the product and engineering teams to invest in resolving the issue.\nWhat You'll Do\nThis job sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and revenue.\n\nYou won't just work closely with the engineering team, you will be on the engineering team.\n\nThe range of problem solving includes networking, performance, security and integrations with existing systems.\n\nMost of the code you will write will be open source.\n\nOur products are loved by their users, you'll get to meet them regularly.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nExcellent communication skills.\n\nWilling to travel to customer sites.\n\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (like Terraform, Ansible, Helm).\n\nLinux systems engineering experience.\n\nGo or Rust experience.\n\nAs we are a startup, you should be comfortable changing the area of focus and working directly with customers.\n\nHow We Hire\nYou will join 30 minute intro call and we will walk you through the compensation, interview process and requirements\n\nYou will join a 30 minute call with the hiring manager, and we will walk you through the take home exercise and help answer questions\n\nYou join a Slack channel and submit a coding challenge using Github\n\nWhy Teleport\nYou're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product.
