Candidates should be able to work independently and hit the ground running, and have a demonstrated interest in technology and business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nIndependently create, implement, and execute automated test scripts\nAssist with maintaining and updating the automation environment to include CI/CD workflows\nCreate test scripts and assist with execution of Python and JavaScript test scripts\nReporting and documenting bugs found during testing\nCollaborate with the Development and Product Teams on a regular basis\nAssist with manual and field testing as needed \nRequired Experience:\nBachelors or Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience\nProficient with at least one current programming language, such as Python, Java or JavaScript\nCreate test scripts and assist with execution of test scripts \nAdvanced proficiency with Linux, including hands-on experience with command-line operations, scripting, troubleshooting, and test-environment configuration\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong Communication & Interpersonal skills\nExhibits knowledge of software development, lifecycles and Agile methodologies\nKeen attention to detail and high level of accuracy \nSelf-starter, ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high-growth environment \nPreferred Experience:\nPreference for working in the innovative, fast-paced environment of a startup company\nExperience with mobile chat apps (Android and iOS)\nExperience testing, and troubleshooting MQTT-based messaging systems\nProficiency with debugging techniques and tools\nFamiliarity with Cypress Framework\nPreferred experience with AI tools, technologies, and their practical application in software testing and automation\nAn affinity for people who like telling jokes, sharing funny links, do cool stuff outside work, and try to be creative about team building (e.g. survival skills training, murder mystery dinner theater, shuffleboard tournament, Mafia/Werewolf)\nFamiliarity with hardware such as Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi\nLove for goTenna and our mission to build a distributed communication network from the ground-up! \nCLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY - This position may require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
