Everyone is highly valued and plays a vital role in the growth of our organization.\nAs a Field Service Engineer at Gotion, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing battery production equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime. This hands-on position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and support systems, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency.\nTroubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in battery production equipment, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.\nInstallation Support: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, collaborating with engineering teams and vendors as needed.\nCalibration & Testing: Conduct calibration and performance testing to meet operational specifications and quality standards.\nDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance metrics.\nSafety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that equipment complies with local and company safety standards.\nCustomer Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues and provide operational updates.\nContinuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to equipment reliability and process efficiency.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nAssociate’s degree or certification in a technical field (e.g., Electrical, or Electronic) or equivalent work experience.A Bachelor's of Science would be preferred\n\nLocal electrical license to carry out field electrical works, or the ability to attain one.\nMinimum 6 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or field service\nStrong troubleshooting skills for electrical and software systems.\nProficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\nWillingness to travel extensively locally and occasionally nationally. \nPreferred:\nExperience in battery or advanced manufacturing industries.\nKnowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.\nOSHA or related safety certification.\nThe U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location.
