The Engineering Operations team focuses on business needs, legal compliance, and operational excellence to ensure our site infrastructure and assets perform reliably and sustainably.\nAs Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will lead site services and infrastructure projects to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance user experience across the site. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage contractor relationships, oversee permit protocols, and support continuous improvement across key engineering KPIs, statutory standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nCore Responsibilities\nSupport the Engineering team to deliver a business-focused service aligned with legal compliance, best practice, and continuous improvement\nLead engineering and infrastructure projects to contribute to central business initiatives\nCommunicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate priorities and minimise operational downtime\nPlan and execute routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and repairs for site infrastructure\nTrack performance to identify operational issues, plan corrective actions, and allocate necessary time and resources during plant downtime\nReview project, improvement, and infrastructure PPM activities with engineering leadership to ensure processes remain fit for purpose\nMaintain condition-based monitoring activities to support early issue detection, plan resolutions, and conform to insurance requirements\nPartner with the Site Engineering Manager to deliver, review, and improve key engineering performance metrics\nManage contractors by reviewing Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), issuing Permits to Work (PTW), and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards\nSupport the creation, implementation, and training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering and technical operators\nWho You Are\nExperience in facilities and site services management\nFamiliarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and parts ordering\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to analyse data to diagnose operational performance\nStrong computer literacy, including experience with Google Suite\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and deliver to deadlines\nAwareness of safety frameworks such as Permits to Work (PTW), COSHH, and experience supporting team activities\nWillingness to support the team by participating in an on-call rota\n Interview Process\nCall with a Talent Acquisition Partner\nFirst stage interview with Hiring Manager\nFinal stage interview\nGousto is for everyone: Whether it’s creating diversity in our recipes or building new teams, we care about our people and the opportunities they have at Gousto.
