Join us to advance our mission and shape your future with us today! \nLearn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg. \n[What you will be working on] \nAs a software engineer, you will: \nBuild and operate highly available OpenShift clusters.\n\nAutomate cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, scaling, and recovery.\n\nManage platform services including networking, ingress, DNS, identity, certificates, storage integration, monitoring, and logging.\n\nImplement GitOps workflows for cluster and platform configuration.\n\nEstablish tenant onboarding, access control, quotas, policies, and workload-isolation standards.\n\nMonitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, and infrastructure.\n\nDevelop runbooks and test upgrade, backup, restore, and disaster-recovery procedures.\n\nWork with network, security, storage, and application teams to deliver reliable platform services.\n\nParticipate in production support and share knowledge with the wider engineering team.\n\n[What we are looking for] \nProduction experience building or operating self-managed Kubernetes clusters.\n\nStrong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, scheduling, storage, and workload lifecycle.\n\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\n\nExperience with cluster upgrades, node lifecycle management, monitoring, and incident response.\n\nAutomation experience using Ansible, Terraform, Go, Python, shell, or similar tools.\n\nExperience with GitOps, infrastructure as code, and version-controlled configuration.\n\nWorking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing, and firewalls.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot across application, platform, operating-system, and infrastructure layers.\n\nWhat we offer you: \nGovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe that diversity is the foundation to innovation. \nOur employee benefits are based on a total rewards approach, offering a holistic and market-competitive suite of perks.
