Our Product team partners closely with Engineering to turn breakthrough technologies into meaningful tools that help users win more government business, faster and more intelligently.\nPosition Summary:As a Product Manager at GovSpend, you’ll help us achieve our long-term strategy and mission by developing a strong understanding of the market and the challenges our customers face, identifying achievable opportunities to solve those challenges, translating those opportunities into actionable projects with measurable outcomes, and then working cross-functionally across the organization to deliver those solutions for our customers. \nYou will play a key role in driving GovSpend’s AI-enabled product innovation strategy, partnering with our engineering teams to build products powered by large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and intelligent agents.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDrive the execution of projects through an AI-augmented software development lifecycle, using tools like ChatGPT and Claude to streamline product specs, automate workflows, and accelerate delivery.\n\nLeverage LLMs and generative AI tools to rapidly draft, refine, and maintain high-quality user stories and requirements in partnership with engineering, data, and UI/UX teams.\n\nIdentify and act on opportunities to deeply integrate AI, machine learning, and intelligent agents into the GovSpend platform to transform product workflows and customer value.\n\nWork closely with product and engineering teams to define how AI capabilities can be trained, tested, scaled, and deployed into production environments.\n\nEffectively communicate product vision, requirements, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.\n\nWork closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, design, and data to drive inspiring outcomes across teams within this group and across the organization.\n\nCollaborate with our commercial teams to identify product enhancements that will generate new business opportunities and growth within our target markets.\n\nEngage frequently with customers to understand their challenges and provide insight into our roadmap, generating excitement and validating our product strategy.\n\nProvide product training and support go-to-market initiatives in partnership with marketing to ensure new feature adoption and usage growth across the GovSpend customer base.\n\nPerform other job duties as assigned to meet the business needs.\n\nSecurity Responsibilities:\nFollow GovSpend's Information Security Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, and acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy before receiving system access.\n\nComplete security awareness training at hire and on an ongoing basis.\n\nUse only the access needed for the job. Never share passwords or accounts, and use multi-factor authentication (MFA).\n\nUse only the company-issued laptop for GovSpend work, with encryption and automatic screen lock turned on.\n\nDo not send company data to personal email or store it in personal cloud storage.\n\nConnect to the company VPN before accessing GovSpend systems on public Wi-Fi.\n\nReport suspected security incidents, phishing, or a lost or stolen device right away to DevSecOps or the ISMS Lead. Lost or stolen devices are also reported to IT.\n\nGet ISMS Lead review before adopting a new tool or vendor that will access or store GovSpend data.\n\nOversee the vendor day to day and raise security concerns to the ISMS Lead.\n\nWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in business or related area.
