This role will be supporting a wide variety of clients, both public and private, spanning multiple industries and market sectors. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.\nResponsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:\nCollaborate with fellow professionals from the Design Delivery Organization (DDO) on a wide range of water and wastewater engineering projects, including conveyance, storage, and pumping design\nDeveloping and preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates (PS&E) packages and technical reports as required for delivery.\n\nConduct field work to evaluate project requirements and to support construction administration\nPerform hydraulic analyses using manual or computer based software applications\nPrepare other engineering calculations\nPrepare design reports, project specifications, and cost estimates\nEmploy your AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills to produce construction plan sets\nThe idea candidate would have the following experience/skill set:\nInterest and experience with engineering and design of water and wastewater engineering projectsis required\n\nProficiency with CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and MicroStation is required\n\nProficiency with basic Microsoft Office Programs and PDF-editing software such as Bluebeam or Adobe is required. Experience in Microsoft Projects is a plus.\nExperience with Client management and/or coordination with suppliers, regulators, and sub-consultants is a plus\n\nExperience Serving as task manager, maintaining task/project budgets and schedules is a plus\nExperiencewith hydraulics, utilities, and construction inspections/observationsis a plus.\nFamiliarity with conveyance analysis or water/wastewater modeling software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater, and/or Flowmaster\nFamiliarity with storm water analysis or modeling software: Hydrology, hydraulics (closed conduit and open channel flow), hydromodification, storm water quality. Experience in ICPR/Stormwise, WSPGW, and StormCAD\nTalented at managing time, organizing priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as independently\nAttention to detail in executing technical design responsibilities\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nEducation\nBachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental preferred)\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience of applied knowledge in civil engineering\nProfessional Engineer license preferred in California or can be acquired within 5 years\nStrong written and verbal communication abilities to work both within a team and independently\nStrong computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs\nAs a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
