Our diverse team contributes to a wide variety of projects, with a strategic focus on resources, energy, critical minerals, infrastructure, and Defence at a regional, national and global scale.\nJoin us as we strive to ensure a sustainable future for our communities and the world we live in.\nBecome part of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, auditors, planners and environmental specialists, all working together to leave this world better than we found it.\nWorking with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nYou will be involved in technical review and assurance of deliverables.\nPreparing and providing high-level review of technical reports and documentation to support referrals and environmental assessments.\nScoping and leading biological surveys throughout Western Australia.\nLeading and contributing to winning proposals to support business growth.\nTravel throughout the state to undertake surveys, often in remote locations for extended survey periods.\nConducting complex biological surveys and assessments, providing technical direction where required.\nMaintaining knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements for ecology and approvals.\nMaking technical decisions and providing solutions based on expertise.\nProviding leadership and guidance to ecology team members, including mentoring and oversight of technical work.\nBuilding and maintaining client relationships, supporting repeat work and growth opportunities.\nContributing to business development activities and representing GHD in the market where appropriate.\nWhat will you bring to the team?\nBachelor degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline.\n10+ years’ relevant ecology experience, within Western Australia preferred but not mandatory.\nCurrent driver’s licence (C class), manual preferred.\nProven experience in and a sound understanding of current environmental issues and legislation.\nStrong experience in proposal development, project delivery and working as part of a team.\nDemonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.\nAbility to deliver critical project outcomes under pressure with enthusiasm and drive.\nStrong client engagement skills and ability to contribute to business growth.\nInterested?
