You'll design and build high-performance backend services, push our web scraping and data pipelines to new scale, and help shape the architecture that keeps everything running smoothly as we grow. If you thrive on distributed systems, high-throughput data, and clean, performant code — and you like being the person others turn to in an architectural discussion — we would like to hear from you.\n\nResponsibilities:Develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript\n\nBuild and optimize advanced web scraping systems capable of handling billions of products daily\n\nImplement real-time data pipelines and stream processing solutions using Kafka\n\nLeverage in-memory caching with Redis to ensure extremely fast data retrieval and updates\n\nWork closely with our distributed NoSQL databases to handle large-scale data effectively\n\nCollaborate in a cross-functional team — taking an active part in architectural discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions\n\nWhat we’re looking for 🌟We imagine that you have:\nStrong expertise in Node.js and dependency injection frameworks such as NestJS\n\nSolid understanding and hands-on experience with PubSub/Kafka or other stream processing tools\n\nProficiency in managing and optimizing NoSQL or SQL databases, with practical experience using Redis or other in-memory databases for caching\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native technologies, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture\n\nExperience managing distributed systems and microservices at scale\n\nIt is further seen as an advantage to have experience with:\nDesigning and implementing efficient web scraping systems\n\nMongoDB in production global / sharded use-cases\n\nMulti-cluster / multi-regional deployments and databases, or Vector Search use-cases\n\nAI applications at work — e.g. reviewer agents or similar\n\nHigh-performance applications dealing with high I/O scenarios\n\nWhy GoWish should sit at top of your career wish list 💙At GoWish, we believe great work comes from people who feel energized, supported, and excited to show up every day.
