Services may include Controller/CFO advisory support and fully outsourced accounting operations, tailored to business needs.\nAs a Managed Accounting Senior, you will work in a team environment to provide outsourced accounting and financial reporting services to a variety of clients. In this role, you will focus on key areas of operational accounting and the preparation of accurate financial statements and reporting packages.\nResponsibilities\nOversight of financial reporting accuracy and timeliness of processing client information\nBank and other balance sheet reconciliation and documentation\nPayroll preparation and reconciliation\nReview and approval of transactional accounting\nReview of general ledger for completeness and accuracy\nManagement of weekly open items and communication with clients\nReview of month end journal entries including prepaids, accrued expenses, inventory, amortization etc.\nPreparation of initial draft financials and reporting package for completion by manager\nCoordinate weekly and monthly tasks with accounting staff\nWork with team to ensure timely month end close and delivery of financials\nParticipate in career development activities and training of staff\nDevelop and sustain relationships with client executives and senior management\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field\nMinimum of 3 years of professional working experience\nPrior operational accounting experience, such as A/P, A/R, Payroll, Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations\nPreferred:\nPrior experience in client service, as well as coaching, mentoring and managing staff\nExperience using QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, ADP, Paychex or other ERP, AP, payroll and spend management systems\nCPA or other professional license eligibility\nOther:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)\nExcellent analytical, research and organizational skills with strong attention to detail\nStrong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities\nGreat
