tune service performance under production load.\n\nOwn observability: metrics (Micrometer/Prometheus, Grafana dashboards), structured logging, alerting.\n\nQuality & delivery\n\nWrite and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests (JUnit 5, Testcontainers).\n\nShip via GitLab CI to Kubernetes; participate in code review and incident investigation.\n\nWhat makes you a GR8 fit:\n\nMust-have\n\n5+ years of experience in back end.\n\nCommercial experience with strong proficiency in Java (17+) and Spring Boot 3.x (Web, Security, Data, Actuator).\n\nExperience building business-critical domain logic (payments, bonuses, billing, or similar money-adjacent flows).\n\nSolid experience integrating third-party REST APIs and designing your own.\n\nUnderstanding of distributed systems basics: idempotency, consistency, timeouts, retries, caching.\n\nExperience with SQL and at least one NoSQL store (Redis, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch).\n\nUpper-intermediate or higher level of English.\n\nNice-to-have\n\nScala experience (parts of our wallet platform run on Scala / Play / Akka).\n\nExperience with Kafka and event-driven architectures (some of our services use Spring Cloud Stream).\n\nExperience running services on Kubernetes;
