Assist in meeting the property net operating income goals relative to occupancy as defined in the operating plan, in accordance with the policies and procedures defined by the company to preserve and maintain the asset and provide a quality living environment for the residents and working to establish a positive work relationship with the property staff.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make-ready work, troubleshooting and repair of most major and all minor mechanical systems.\nResponsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards.\nMust be able to perform administrative support duties for maintenance related activities.\nPrepare timely and accurate maintenance journals and summary documentation.\nImplement changes in system or assignments in accordance with findings of the maintenance journals, to ensure more efficient management of maintenance operations.\nResponsible for all aspects of maintenance of property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals.\nResponsible for completion of all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company safety standards, and for the relay of information regarding the property or operations that might constitute a physical or liability hazard.\nParticipate in preventative maintenance programs and on-going maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property, to preserve and maintain the asset.\nResponsible for participation in the creation and implementation of an emergency plan for the property.\nAssist in training all staff to assist in emergency operations.\nContribute to the achievement of property financial goals through effective productivity and cost-effective management of maintenance functions, without compromising quality.\nWhen called upon, perform groundskeeper responsibilities.\nSchedule outside vendors when required.\nRequirements\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nValid Driver's License in good standing\n1-year related experience\nMust be proficient in most areas of apartments maintenance;
