We are a leading supplier of pumps and fluid transfer technology to the semiconductor, Solar Cells, LEDs, flat-panel displays, electronic and industrial markets.\nReady to join us?\nJob Purpose\nThis is a contractor positions and will operate CNC machines in a productive and safe manner to produce parts that meet Graco’s quality standards at the lowest cost in a timely manner while minimizing the waste of materials and resources.\nEssential Duties\nOperate a variety of CNC machines within a factory\nMaintain a clean, safe work area.\nAdjusts tools and replace as needed\nPerform daily maintenance of machines as required and keep supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond operator ability\nMust read and understand layouts, routings, and blueprints for the parts being run\nDemonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing\nProvide accurate inventory counts at all times and keep parts in appropriate storage areas\nProficient in the use of comparators, CMM, Trimos, gages, and related measurement tools\nCollect and input SPC data which involves the use of comparator, CMM, Trimos, gages, and related test instruments\nPerform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required (i.e., deburring).\nWork as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to produce machined parts which meet Graco standards of quality and productivity goals\nOther duties as assigned.\nPosition Requirements\nEducation/Certifications\nHigh School diploma or GED\nCompletion of a Machine Tool Technology degree program or a Technical School Certificate in Machining or an equivalent number of years of machining experience is preferred.\nCandidates that have completed the first year of a 2-year Machine Tool Technology program may be considered for employment contingent on the successful completion of the degree, certificate, or program.\nNote: A completed 2-year degree in machining or machine technology is required to be promoted to the next level (transcript is required) along with required time in grade and completed promotional checklist.\nSkills/Abilities/Competencies\nAbility to read and understand CNC programs and operational layouts\nAbility to perform a sequence of operations under minimum supervision and consistently maintain the performance levels set for quality, productivity, and efficiency.\nFull compliance with safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts which might cause injury to self, others, or the environment\nGood interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills\nAbility to plan effectively and execute the plans\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills\nMust have strong PC skills and the ability to utilize all Graco’s Manufacturing ERP systems and other manufacturing operating systems.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and unrestricted basis.
