The program concludes with a final presentation where you’ll showcase your achievements and the difference you’ve made.\nAllow machining students to gain manufacturing experience while they are completing their two year Machine Tool Technology degree. Interns will complete special project work support, learn to work on advanced equipment and have the opportunity to run a variety of machines providing Graco machines unload.\nWhat You Will Do at Graco\nOperate assigned machines within department. \nLearn simple setups and troubleshooting while supervised by skilled Graco full-time machinists. \nCheck parts with hard gauging and CMM.\nPerform periodic quality checks as described in operation layouts.\nPackage, wash, and deburr as described in operation layouts or otherwise directed by full-time Graco Machinist, Engineer, or Supervisor.\nKeep a clean and organized work area.\nResponsible for the quality of the parts they produce and follow all necessary inspection requirements.\nWork as a team member to aid all shifts and support co-workers to operate to department expectations.\nFocus on safety and follow all safety rules and requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat You Will Bring to Graco\nStudents must be enrolled in a two year Machine Tool Technology program\nShift is flexible & can be changed to accommodate current courses/schedule.\nStudent must be in good standing with the school if enrolled, maintaining a C average or better.\nAbility to read blueprints.\nComply with all safety rules and requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of what employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job (Lifting, dexterity, coordination, mobility, etc.).
