The program concludes with a final presentation where you’ll showcase your achievements and the difference you’ve made.\nHours: Day Shift, Monday - Friday\nInternship Duration: May - August 2027\nPerform preventative maintenance and repairs of all machine tools, assembly equipment and manufacturing assets.\nPerform testing, adjustments and repair in the area of hydraulics, mechanical, electrical and electronics.\nDisassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble. Equipment includes: electrical systems, Programmable Logic Control systems, hydraulic pumps/systems, gear boxes/transmissions, and pneumatic systems.\nRead and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematics.\nPromptly respond to customer maintenance requests concerning equipment breakdowns.\nProvide support to departmental personnel as workload dictates.\nKeep accurate maintenance records.\nOrder parts/supplies and maintain inventory accuracy.\nFollow all required safety guidelines and utilize the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nWorking toward a degree in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, robotics or related field.\nEducation in manufacturing/machining programs (i.e. Mechanical Troubleshooting, PLC Controls, Trouble Shooting and Diagnostics, and Electronics).\nStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude.\nAbility to disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble.\nAbility to adjust machines physical placement and parameters to original machine specifications.\nProficient working knowledge of a variety of electronic controls.\nUnderstand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which might cause injury to self, others or the environment.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
