Graco is part of your daily life.\nWhere You’ll Work - Contractor Equipment Division (CED)\nThe Contractor Equipment Division makes sprayers that apply paint to walls and other structures, with product models for users ranging from do-it-yourself homeowners to professional paint contractors. Contractor equipment also includes sprayers that apply texture to walls and ceilings, highly viscous coatings to roofs, and line markings on roads, parking lots, athletic fields and floors.\nThe future of CED is bright, with significant investments being made across the business; the division is expanding to accommodate increased demand and growth driven by an investment in new products and innovative ideas. With the global industry ramping up into high gear, CED is positioned to convert contractors accustomed to manually applying paint and other coatings by brush-and-roller to spray technology.\nReady to join us?\nThe Senior TechnicalTrainer will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive training programs and initiatives. TheSeniorTechnical Trainer will facilitateengaging training sessions for a diverse audience, including technicians and sales representatives, and will play a pivotal role in managing learning schedules, participant records, and the certification process. The Senior Technical Trainer will collaborate with key organization leaders to align training programs with broader marketing strategies and objectives.\nWhat You Will Do at Graco\nTraining Program Design, Implementation, and Coordination\nStrategically lead the design and implementation oftraining programs and materials that stay within the quality, cost, and timing parameters.\n\nImplement new programsby conducting trainingsfor technicians, end user maintenance staff, distributor sales representatives, and internal train-the-trainer sessions for internal sales staff.\n\nCultivate an engaging learning environment by using a variety of active learning methods and adult learning concepts to develop participants’ competencies and to help learners meet specified performance expectations.\n\nManage the administration of learning schedules, maintenance of participant records (e.g., test scores, evaluations, attendance), as well as the execution of the entire registration/certification processes for courses and demo lab.\n\nAnalyze and coordinate and monitor training needs.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration and Support\nManage/interface with clients such as marketing, engineering, sales, etc., to understand project scope, timing, budget, and human resources required.\n\nProactively address follow upissues andaction items post training sessions, ensuring timelyand effective communication to enhance stakeholder engagement.\n\nServe as an advisor to the sales force, engineering, marketing, and distributors regardingthe resolution of technical issues that affect the utilizationof our products.\n\nTechnical Expertise and Resource Management\nDemonstrate mastery of applicable product concepts, technical content, course curriculum, and training methodologies.\n\nServe as aprimarytechnical product and application content expert for technical service calls.\n\nMaintain and monitorthe inventory for an organized and well-equipped training facility, including service lab, product components, and training equipment (hardware & software).\n\nLead and coordinate demonstration lab activities, optimizingresources to showcaseproduct capabilities effectively.\n\nKPI Development, Analysis, and Reporting\nContinuously monitorand evaluate the training program’s effectiveness and utilizationof training resources and adjust where necessary.\n\nRegularly analyze participant feedback, performance metrics, and other relevant data to measure the effectiveness of the training program.\n\nSystematically track and analyze the usage of training materials, platforms, and other resources to ensure they are being effectively leveraged.\n\nWhat You WillBring to Graco\nBachelor’sdegreein Training andDevelopment, Education, Communicationsor a relatedfield.\n\n5+ yearsof experiencein course development andinstructionaldesign usingadult learningconcepts.\n\nDemonstratedabilitytolead andmanage projectsfrominceptiontoimplementation.\n\nDemonstratedabilitytocoach anddelegatetoothers.\n\nProve abilitytouseactivelearningstylesandmethods.\n\nAdvanced groupfacilitationskills.\n\nStrong skills usingtraining software programs.\n\nStrong skills in Microsoftoffice applicationsincludingPowerPoint.\n\nAbilitytotravelapproximately15% of time, bothdomesticandinternational.\n\nAccelerators\nGlobal industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.\n\nMastersdegree or relevant certification preferred.\n\nAt Graco, you truly make a difference.
