Graco is part of your daily life.\nJob Purpose\nThe Electrical Assembler C will assemble components and sub-assemblies for use in Systems assemblies and/or service parts orders on a timely basis, ensuring quality and maximizing efficiency. This individual will also assist Assembler A’s and Assemblers B’s in systems builds.\nEssential Duties\nParticipate in problem-solving to continually improve the quality of assemblies and Processes.\n\nLayout control boxes; drill and punch.\n\nLayout back panels; drill and tap.\n\nLayout and perform diversified wiring on a variety of STD Products.\n\nDetermine polarity to ensure effective operation in running, bending, and fitting wires and cables in limited space.\n\nInstall conduit and fittings and connect switches and control panels.\n\nTest electrical controls and adjust as required.\n\nAssemble and test components and standard product assemblies.\n\nAssist Assembler A or supervisor by alerting others to non-conforming components.\n\nPackage finished assemblies before shipment.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nPosition Requirements\nEssential Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or GED.\n\nMinimum of a two-year degree in electrical or electro-mechanical technology, or other relevant degrees in which the majority of the curriculum is related to electronics, electrical or electro-mechanical assembly/repair/diagnostics.\n\nBasic electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic knowledge.\n\nKnowledge of NEC electrical standards.\n\nGood mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools.\n\nKnowledge of how to layout setup, perform standard operations, and perform unique operations where quality, tolerances, and sequences are specified.\n\nAbility to lift 45 pounds when cranes are not practical.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\nStandard Graco/FTU product knowledge.\n\nBench assembly experience.\n\nKnowledge of threads, hole punches, and drill tap sizes.\n\nKnowledge of Programmable Logic Controls.\n\nAbility to use measuring devices (i.e. caliper).\n\nKnowledge of electrical control panel building or electrical system integration.\n\nKnowledge of UL panel construction.\n\nKnowledge of engraving.\n\nCrating experience.\n\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and unrestricted basis.
