You’ll shape the product, own consequential problems, and build systems that some of the world’s leading brands depend on every day.\nThe Role\nAs a Software Engineer at Gradial, you'll work directly with our CPO to prototype, build and launch entirely new AI-powered products, with an initial focus on paid media integrations. You'll operate at the frontier of applied AI, developing scalable software solutions for some of the world's largest companies, including T-Mobile and Amazon.\nWe're looking for a scrappy, high-agency engineer who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly and takes ownership from concept to deployment. You'll play a critical role in exploring new product opportunities, solving complex technical challenges and building the systems and capabilities that shape what Gradial delivers next.\nWhat You'll Own\nOwn the end-to-end development of new AI-powered applications and services, from early prototypes to production deployment.\nPartner directly with the CPO to explore, prototype and validate new product opportunities, translating ambitious ideas into working software.\nDesign, build and deploy integrations across paid media systems, enabling new capabilities and workflows for enterprise customers.\nDevelop rapid prototypes to test technical approaches, gather feedback and turn promising concepts into scalable solutions.\nDrive technical decisions across the stack, balancing speed, reliability, scalability and performance.\nCollaborate with engineering, product and AI research teams to integrate emerging AI capabilities into production-ready applications.\nNavigate complex APIs, external systems and technical challenges to build reliable, high-quality integrations.\nTake ownership of ambiguous engineering problems with minimal direction, identifying solutions and moving quickly to deliver results.\nWhat We Need\nExceptional technical ability and a demonstrated track record of building and shipping software, regardless of years of professional experience.\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to design, develop and deploy solutions across the stack.\nExperience working with APIs, integrating external services and building reliable connections between systems.\nA bias toward action, with the ability to move from an ambiguous technical problem to a working solution quickly.\nA scrappy, resourceful approach to engineering challenges and a willingness to figure things out independently.\nHigh agency and a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to make technical decisions and execute without extensive direction.\nGenuine curiosity about AI and excitement for building software that pushes the boundaries of what's possible.\nEvidence of exceptional ability through projects, applications or other software you've built. \nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with paid media technologies, advertising workflows or marketing technology integrations.\nExperience building applications with LLMs, AI agents or other emerging AI technologies.\nExperience building and launching software from the ground up, whether through personal projects, startups or professional work\nCompensation\nThe base salary range for this position is$140,000 - $185,000.
