These positions are paid $1,500 per month and ideal for current students and recent graduates looking for experience in the field of event production, with the hope of making this your future career path. Due to the nature of the business, we have a strong preference for a minimum of six months for the internship. We feel this is the minimum amount of time where you can truly learn and grow from an experience with Gradient, being able to see events from start to finish and truly take part in the process. We also have a strong preference for NY based candidates, so you can remain hands on with the day to day work.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL / PRE PRODUCTION\nPerform supportive tasks to the production team\nResearching the brand including past activations\nResearching venues for projects\nContacting and sourcing all necessary venue information for projects including availability, rental fees, A/V, catering, permitting, power needs, timing, security, etc\nBuilding venue decks for clients\nResearching and contacting vendors for information\nSourcing decor elements for events\nFilling out necessary sheets in Master Production Booklet (decor sourcing, travel info, contact info, venue info, etc)\nLeading fulfillment of gift bags or inventory, when necessary.\nContribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas and solutions to enhance client campaigns\nTaking notes on all internal and external calls\nLIVE EVENT & ONSITE\nSupporting lead production team onsite with check-in, errands, set-up and management of attendee experience\nOverseeing the back of house maintenance including crew meals, radios, rentals, production boxes, etc\nManagement support of select vendors (cleaning, security, rentals, crew meals, etc) \nAlways maintain the Gradient standard -
