We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.\nTo Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nScheduling and participating in turnover walkdowns.\nDeveloping turnover packages to present to the appropriate accepting organizationusing the required turnover forms.\nCoordinating with the accepting organization to compile a turnover punch list.\nFacilitate designating each punch list item as either “A” or “B” punch list items.\nNotifying the accepting organization an SSC(s) is ready for turnover\nRequesting the Facility Manager to determine if a Final Acceptance Inspection in accordance with Manual 8Q.\nProcedure 51 is required when Operations is the accepting organization\nPrepare and document all required turnover deliverables, including as-built drawings, equipment lists, and operational manuals.\nEnsure all turnover activities meet nuclear regulatory requirements and safetystandards.\nLiaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to confirm completion of work, resolve documentation discrepancies, and verify readiness for handover.\nMaintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and future operations.\nEducation and Licensure\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of relevant experience\nAssociate degree in a technical discipline and 14 years of relevant experience\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nREQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:\nAt leastb 10 to 14 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nA comprehensive level of knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the functional area assigned is required, including specific knowledge of a facility or area or location supported, where appropriate.\n\nThorough knowledge and understanding of all pertinent policies, practices, procedures, DOE orders and regulatory statutes which impact the function or facility supported\n\nExcellent communication and coordination skills to manage cross-functional\nteams.\n\nAbility to work in highly regulated environments with attention to detail and safety.\n\nStrong analytical skills to interpret project turnover requirements and resolve\ndocumentation discrepancies.\n\nAbility to make independent decisions regarding compliance enforcement and corrective action recommendations.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and owner representatives.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.\n\nDue to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. \nDue to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.\nHealth & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS:\nCandidates with previous testing, commissioning, and startup of DOE facilities is preferred.\nStrong understanding of nuclear facility operations and regulatory compliance.\nExperience with turnover documentation and project closeout processes.\nProficiency in engineering drawings, manuals, and compliance checklists.\n1-3 years of experience in industrial construction, completions, turnover, or QA/QC.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6.\nFundamental understanding of turnover documentation, commissioning, and quality compliance.\nA 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week), 4/10’s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80’s (9 hours/day, five days on week AA and four days on week BB. Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has 30-minute lunch. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables and will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager.
