Students are required to work 40 hours per week onsite in Assumption, IL from tentatively Wednesday, May 26th through Friday, July 30th (dependent upon summer housing dates, could start earlier and/or end later). \n\nYour Impact\nUtilize 3D and 2D CAD tools to design new and update existing components\nExecute engineering release processes to publish and revise drawings and bills of material\nCommunicate with Engineering Team Lead, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to understand and verify product requirements and cost targets\nEngage with manufacturing team to gather inputs and integrate Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principles into product designs\nMitigate production issues through engineering and product managers\nSupport the Tech Services team with troubleshooting field issues\nSupport current product maintenance and updates per stakeholder requests\nCollaborate with R&T to build prototype designs\n\nYour Experience and Qualifications\nEnrollment in a degree program in design engineering, agricultural engineering, or related field \nMust be registered as a full-time student\nMust be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis\nExceptional oral and written communication skills\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point\nProficiency in 3D CAD tools such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nPreferably have completed one or more internships and/or have working experience (e.g. part time job)\nPrior experience in an agricultural and/or manufacturing setting is a plus\nYour Compensation and Benefits\nExpected hourly wage for this role will be $20 – 22 / hour.
