We are local at heart with the backing of GrainCorp, one of Australasia's largest agribusinesses.\nAbout the role\nReporting to the Operations Manager - New Zealand, we are seeking a Site Manager for our Timaru site in a permanent role. This role will see you join an established, industry leader in animal feeds. You will lead and manage the team and Store. Key responsibilities include;\nEnsuring the site runs safely \nOverseeing capital expenditure projects\nManaging stock inwards & outwards and relevant documentation \nRostering staff\nOverseeing repairs and maintenance programmes\nActioning tool box talks \nEnsuring production schedules are met \nInventory management\nEnsure site policies and procedures are followed \nLiaise with transporters \nAbout the person\nOur ideal candidate has both operational and front-line supervisory experience in the feeds industry or in a similar bulk handling / warehousing / logistics operation. A deep commitment for customer, quality and safety is essential.\nWe’re also seeking the following attributes:\nComfortable with change, pressure, autonomy\nConfident, articulate and collaborative written and oral communication skills / style\nAbility to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems and software\nAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and solutions-focused\nHeavy wheels endorsement and experience with loader driving \n8 hr days.
