We’re looking for passionate people to join our team as we continue leading the industry over our next 100 years.\nPRIMARY FUNCTION\nTo aid in the processing of customer payments by collecting payment detail.\nReconcile daily customer open payments exceptions.\nEnsure timely customer payment application.\nMAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nUsing BancTec platform, perform data entry of customer payment information, including:\nAccount number and invoice number entry\nCheck dollar amount verification\nMICT and OCR correction\nPost ICR evaluation and correction\nProvide assistance to Supervisors and/or leads by: Aid in testing for process improvements, Participate in business continuity tests and Maintain and distribute production reports in Excel.\nIdentify exception types that require improvement to reduce complexity and increase productivity.\nDetermine and perform corrective action needed to resolve customer payment discrepancies.\nReview customer payments and perform corrective action in the Accounts Receivable system.\nReview and process sales tax credits and unidentified payments.\nDemonstrated ability to work through sensitive issues with good ethics and integrity.\nMaintain customer account tracking spreadsheets.\nPerform timely customer payment application\nReview Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure company and department policies and procedures are being followed.\nCompile statistical information for reporting and departmental projects upon request.\nInitiate and participate in team meetings.\nRecommend process improvements.\nTrain and assist other Coordinators/Team Leads in area.\nSpecial projects as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.\nGood attendance and work ethics.\nFluency in reading and speaking in Spanish and English is required. French comprehension is preferred.\nSelf-starter with good initiative.\nDemonstrated competence using MS Office tools and ability to learn advanced computer skills.\nSAP experience preferred.\nGood communication skills.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood organizational skills with a proven ability to plan, communicate and follow-up on tasks.\nTeam oriented person who can focus on the details.\nOvertime may be required.\nThe ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization.\nGrainger is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
