Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.\nPosition Summary:\nWe’re hiring warehouse associates across multiple shifts with full-time positions available!\nYou’ll report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other team members.\nPlease also check out this video which describes what it’s like working in our Distribution Centers.\nJob Responsibilities (You Will):\nSafely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting, labeling, putaway, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products using industrial machines.\nOperate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.\nResolve exceptions in order fulfillment due to stock discrepancies, order processing errors, damaged products, carrier changes, etc.\nFollow lock out and tag out procedures for powered industrial equipment.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.\nWork collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.\nPerform other tasks as directed by leadership, including all functions of a DCA II.\nEducation/Experience (You Have):\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced and physically active job.\nExperience with industrial machines, like order picker, forklift, pallet jack, etc.\nAbility to speak and understand written and spoken English.\nComfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations.\nYou’ll need to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heights.\nPass a pre-employment background check.\n\nRewards and Benefits:\nOur programs provide choice and flexibility to meet your individual needs.
