Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.\nPosition Details:\nAs a member of the Merchandising and Supplier Management (MSM) team, you will closely work with the Merchandising, Supplier Management, and Product Information teams, and other cross functional partners on projects to enhance and/or improve process and reporting that support our business activities and Supplier/Product offering.\nThis position will be located in Thornhill, ON and is a full-time role working 40 hours a week and on a hybrid (in office / remote) basis.\nYou Will:\nCollaborate with Canadian MSM teams and U.S. counterparts to understand product data, workflows, processes, and reporting requirements. \nPartner with business stakeholders and technology teams to document process flows, identify gaps, and define business requirements. \nAnalyze product assortment, supplier data, and business processes to identify opportunities for operational improvements. \nDevelop, automate, and enhance reporting and analytical tools by integrating data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights, monitor performance, identify trends and root causes, and deliver data-driven recommendations. \nDesign, build, test, and deploy reporting capabilities and workflow automation solutions using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Python, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, SAP, STEP and related technologies.\nEstimate work effort and develop project timelines for new reports, tools, and applications. \nCommunicate project progress and findings to stakeholders and business leaders. \nSupport additional projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.\nYou Have:\nBachelor's Degree Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, or related field. required Working experience across the entire Power Platform (e.g., PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). \nStrong proficiency working with systems such as Snowflake, Teradata, SQL Server, SharePoint and SAP. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office functionality (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) expected. \nStrong Business, analytical and problem-solving skill with excellent written and verbal communication skills. \nWork cross-functionally to foster, manage, and leverage relationships with stakeholders, team members, and end users. \nSelf-directed with accountability to make sound business decisions while demonstrating effective time-management and multi-tasking skills. \nProactively identify problems and determine corrective actions by building and communicating clear project plans.
