The role requires strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, automated testing, Git-based development, SQL, and microservices.\nCONTRACT: Project-based engagement\nCOMMITMENT: 100%, full-time\nLOCATIONS: Remote within the EU, with occasional on-site attendance in Luxembourg (approximately 5 working days per year)\nKey Responsibilities\nGather and clarify business requirements and analyse existing processes and applications.\nDesign, develop, and support Java / Angular applications and microservices.\nBuild and maintain backend services using Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.\nDevelop Angular frontends and integrate them with backend APIs.\nWrite and maintain automated unit and integration tests.\nExecute system, integration, and performance testing and support UAT.\nSupport release preparation, deployment, and change-management activities.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and communicate directly with stakeholders.\nMaintain technical documentation, code documentation, and operational guides.\nSupport application issues, release activities, risks, and change requests.\nRequirements\n7+ years of hands-on professional Java development experience, including production releases.\nStrong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.\nProven experience personally writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests for Java applications.\nStrong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript / JavaScript, including backend API integration.\nExperience with Git-based team development, including branches, pull/merge requests, and code review.\nStrong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, XML, YAML, and JSON.\nExperience with microservices and modern application delivery practices.\nExperience using AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex for implementation, modification, review, or testing -
