See more of what we do here.\nJob Summary\nThe Software Engineer role at Granicus is for developers growing their technical and software development skills developing products in a SaaS based environment. They take on challenging technical tasks and consistently make significant contributions to all areas of the Granicus product suite. Software Engineers are proficient in multiple different technologies and gain on-the-job experience applying their knowledge and experience in improving the design and quality of our products. They understand the deployment process and support our applications in all environments. As they gain expertise, they share their knowledge with the broader engineering team. #Puerto Rico\nWhat Your Impact Will Look Like\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and LangChain.\nBuild and maintain scraping frameworks using Firecrawl, Playwright, or similar technologies.\nDevelop and orchestrate multi-agent systems, including LangFlow pipelines and agent-to-agent (A2A) communication.\nDeploy multi-agent systems to production with robust monitoring and failover mechanisms.\nIntegrate agents with third-party tools like Salesforce, SharePoint, Slack, and internal business systems.\nCreate responsive, user-friendly frontend components using React.js or similar frameworks.\nImplement real-time interfaces using SSE or WebSocket for dynamic data flows.\nUse observability platforms such as LangFuse to monitor agent performance and interaction logs.\nMentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and help drive system architecture decisions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML, DevOps, Product) in agile environments\nYou Will Love This Job If You Have\n8-12 years of full-stack development experience, with expert-level Python proficiency.\nStrong backend experience with FastAPI, asyncio, and building scalable microservices.\nProven experience building and deploying web scraping frameworks such as Firecrawl, Scrapy, Playwright, etc.\nStrong understanding of and hands-on experience with agent-based systems, including:\nAgent-to-agent (A2A) communicationLangFlow orchestrationDeploying multi-agent systems in productionDemonstrated experience in integrating agents with third-party systems (Salesforce, SharePoint, CRMs, or similar).\nFrontend development experience using React.js, TypeScript, or other modern frameworks.\nFamiliarity with agent observability tools such as LangFuse.\nExperience using developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Winsurf, or equivalents.\nAbout Us\nDon’t have all the skills/experience mentioned above?
