Granite Club is looking for a full-time Project Manager, Capital Projects who will be responsible for managing and delivering assigned Aspiration Capital projects at the Granite Club from project needs.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nProject Management & Delivery \nManage assigned capital projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout. \nProvide overall management, administrative, and technical direction for assigned projects. \nDevelop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables. \nEnsure projects are completed on time, within approved budgets, and in accordance with project requirements and quality standards. \nIdentify project risks, issues, and potential schedule or cost impacts and proactively develop mitigation strategies. \nIdentify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, schedule efficiencies, and improved project delivery. \nProvide regular project updates and escalate key risks, decisions, and issues to the Director, Capital Projects. \nDesign & Consultant Management \nManage the review and coordination of project design documents, including drawings and specifications. \nReview and interpret drawings, specifications, consultant reports, proposals, and other project documentation. \nManage architects, engineers, consultants, and other external project stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet project requirements. \nMeet regularly with consultants to review design progress, outstanding items, changes, budget considerations, and schedule impacts. \nCoordinate input from internal stakeholders during the design process and communicate requirements clearly to the consultant team. \nSupport procurement activities, including tender preparation, bid reviews, scope clarification, and contractor/consultant selection, as required. \nConstruction Management & Site Coordination \nConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, schedule, site conditions, and conformance with contract documents. \nWork collaboratively with contractors and site construction teams to resolve issues affecting project progress. \nMonitor construction activities and coordinate work within occupied and operational Club spaces. \nEnsure project work is appropriately planned and phased to minimize disruption to members, staff, events, and Club operations. \nReview project changes and assess their potential impact on scope, cost, schedule, operations, and quality. \nCoordinate deficiencies, commissioning, turnover, warranties, and comprehensive project closeout.\n\nStakeholder & Operational Coordination \nAct as a key liaison between external project teams and internal Club stakeholders. \nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and subtrades. \nWork collaboratively with Operations and other Club departments to coordinate shutdowns, access, deliveries, temporary conditions, phasing, and other construction-related requirements. \nConduct and manage project meetings, ensuring decisions, action items, responsibilities, and next steps are clearly documented and followed through. \nCommunicate project impacts, key milestones, risks, and changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. \nSupport a positive member experience throughout construction by proactively identifying and minimizing operational disruptions. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline. \nMinimum 5–7 years of project management experience, in construction, real estate, property development, institutional facilities, hospitality, or related environment. \nDemonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and design through construction and closeout. \nExperience delivering renovation and construction projects within occupied and operational environments is strongly preferred. \nExperience simultaneously managing multiple projects at various stages of design and construction. \nPMP certification is considered an asset. \nExperience with Procore or other construction/project management platforms is considered an asset. \nKnowledge & Skills \nStrong understanding of construction processes, project delivery, design coordination, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration. \nAbility to read, review, and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and other technical documentation. \nStrong financial management skills, including project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management. \nStrong understanding of project risk management and ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks. \nExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects concurrently. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nStrong leadership and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams. \nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure situations. \nAbility to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day project responsibilities while escalating significant risks or complex issues appropriately. \nAbility to adapt to changing priorities, operational requirements, and project conditions. \nCollaborative approach with an understanding of the importance of delivering construction projects while maintaining ongoing Club operations and minimizing disruption to members. \nCompensation \n\nThe salary range for this position is $95,000 to
