We’re building more than infrastructure; we are building your future.\n General Summary\nThis position is responsible for providing intermediate level expertise and analysis for system selection, implementation, integration and support of business systems to ensure alignment with Information Technology (IT) initiatives and business strategy and needs as they relate to service management.Essential Job Responsibilities\nProvide IT support for internal customers and IT staff to ensure critical business needs are met in relation to IT services and solutions. \nAnalyze business functional requirements into technical specifications to ensure appropriate deployment of changes that impact the end user.\nApply technical knowledge, skills and expertise in development and implementation methodologies to the system development lifecycle including unit testing and code review to ensure industry-established best practices are followed.\nCollaborate with business analysts to evaluate the impact of system changes introduced by customizations, interfaces, bug fixes, updates and upgrades to ensure timely, effective and efficient delivery of corporate systems.\nEnsure adequate communication is maintained regarding projects, changes, major incidents and other Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Processes and priorities so all invested parties are kept informed of progress.\nResolve escalated issues and work with other team members to ensure timely resolution of production issues.\nProvide analysis around new changes, requirements or improvements to current systems to ensure efficient process handling.\nAssist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation to ensure IT operations processes are efficient and effective.\nParticipate in general housekeeping activities (i.e. service desk) to comply with IT operations ticket handling procedures.\nReview system and application design and change documents to ensure efficient and effective handling.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related field desired\nWork Experience\n2+ years’ experience with relevant software and development toolset\nExperience with Microsoft products, Oracle, SQL and relational databases\nExperience with Change and Release Management\nExperience with multiple programming languages\n Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience with or knowledge of ETL (data extraction, transformation, and load) methods and technologies\nExperience designing and implementing data solutions on Databricks using the Medallion Architecture\nWorking knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and services.\nFamiliarity with AI-powered tools and a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies.\nKnowledge of ServiceNow basic operations\nGood written and oral communication skills\nExcellent support and problem diagnosis skills\nStrong desire to jump in and investigate issues, resolve problems, and communicate status\nStrong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills\nAbility to complete projects in a team-oriented environment\nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions \nNormally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments\nSQL debugging skills required\nWorking knowledge of BI tools and data warehouse concepts desired\nAbility to work under high pressure\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
