We’re building more than infrastructure; we are building your future.\nGeneral Summary\nThis position is responsible for operation and deployment of geophysical logging equipment, equipment selection and deployment, and data review/processing/presentation for a wide variety of external and internal clients in relation to Water Resources development.Essential Job Accountabilities\nExtensive field operation and deployment of geophysical logging equipment\nDetermination of instrument selection and deployment based on client needs\nPerform downhole geophysical logging services\nRecord and document field observations\nData review\nData processing and client presentation\n Education\nRadiation License (RSO) required\nCDL-A or B required\nWork Experience\n3 years of experience in downhole geophysical logging is highly preferred, but not required.\nAbility to work unsupervised for long periods at a time, to ensure a successful project with limited management oversight.\nExperience in communicating complex problems and exhaustive findings to clients\nMust be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and perform ethically at all times.\nKnowledge, skills, and abilities\nFamiliarity with the following logs: Caliper, RTS, Gamma, borehole compensated sonic, static and dynamic video\nFamiliarity with annular MIT process preferred\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nWillingness to travel and stay out of town\nWillingness to work with pump and drilling crews when logging unit is not in use\nExperience with the water well industry preferred\nFamiliarity with Win-Situ Software preferred\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of sample material or core boxes. The employee is required to walk uneven and steep ground to access property for the purpose of field mapping. The employee must be able to work outside all seasons of the year, all day long.
