Stock and maintain warehouse inventory & warehouse cleanliness at all times ensuring the safety of yourself and others.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nEssential Functions include but are not limited to:\nOutbound and inbound inventory receiving, etc, \nComplete damage reports, product, wrapping, pallet, bundle, crate, etc.\nSafely and timely prepare and load products for transport. \nSafely and timely stage products for loading.\nSafely and timely load products onto truck, and/or railcar.\nMove products safely into warehouse inventory storage.\nMove waste & scrap into dumpsters as needed.\nResponsible for quality control - damaged products.\nOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).\nOperate sit down forklifts and other material handling equipment.\nPerform daily forklift safety checks, preventive maintenance and report any issues.\nCommunicate with team members and supervisors.\nKeep clean and maintain work area.\nTurn off and lock out equipment when not in use.\nMaintains thankful, respectful, polite, and courteous attitude.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School Diploma or GED (preferred)\nAbility to obtain and maintain forklift certification and applicable state certification for forklifts.\n2+ years of forklift experience working in similar industry. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience. Clamp exp preferred.\nGood oral English and written communication skills.\nManual dexterity required for operating machinery.\nAbility to stay a team player and meet deadlines.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
