Approved office locations can be found below.\nDirector of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations\nThe Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations is responsible for leading the global financial consolidation, close. This is a newly created role resulting from the growth of the Grant Thornton Advisory multinational platform. This role oversees the integrity of the consolidated financial statements and drives the strategic development of consolidation processes, controls, reporting capabilities. This successful candidate will play a key leadership role in acquisitions, finance transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement of consolidation and close processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nCorporate Accounting\nDirect monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.\nEnsure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.\nOversee ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, consolidation adjustments, and intercompany eliminations in Onestream consolidation corporate performance management platform.\nManage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting processes.\nLead accounting close governance and coordinate activities across domestic and international finance organizations.\nEstablish accounting close performance metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts.\nPartner with Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting and Financial Operations teams to support their teams reporting requirements.\nReview consolidation support schedules and disclosures.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting standards.\nSupport technical accounting analyses affecting consolidation conclusions.\nEnsure appropriate internal controls exist over consolidation, close, and reporting activities.\nSupport SOX compliance activities and management testing.\nCoordinate external audit requests related to consolidation and financial systems.\nMonitor compliance with established accounting policies and procedures\nOneStream Strategy & Governance\nEstablish application governance standards, policies, and controls.\nPartner with Finance Systems and IT teams on platform administration, upgrades, security, and support.\nDevelop OneStream development roadmap in collaboration with other stakeholders. Prioritize and oversee OneStream enhancement efforts.\nOversee metadata governance, chart of accounts management, dimension structures, and workflow design.\nEnsure platform scalability to support growth, acquisitions, and changing reporting requirements.\nFinance Integration and Transformation\nLead initiatives to modernize and automate close and consolidation processes.\nDrive adoption of OneStream capabilities\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual processes and spreadsheet dependencies.\nEstablish data governance and reporting standards across the finance organization.\nLead financial integration activities for acquisitions and business combinations.\nCoordinate onboarding of acquired entities into OneStream.\nOversee consolidation impact assessments for new acquisitions \nDevelop integration playbooks and standard operating procedures.\nExperience, Qualifications and Eduction\nBachelor's degree in Accounting.\nCPA required.\n10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.\n5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance organizations.\nSignificant experience overseeing global consolidations.\nHands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platform\nExperience supporting multinational organizations and their consolidation process\nPublic accounting background preferred.\nExperience with acquisitions, including accounting following the guidance of ASC 805, as well -merger integrations preferred.\nExpert knowledge of ASC 810 Consolidation, ASC 830 Foreign Currency Matters\nUnderstanding of OneStream Business Rules and VB.NET logic a plus\nExceptional project and change management skills.\nAbility to influence across functions and geographies.\nContinuous improvement orientation.\nStrong risk and control mindset.\nThe base salary range for this position is between $172,000 and $232,000. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
