This role looks beyond just control points and focuses on Process Optimization changes that achieve necessary business transformation.\nYour day-to-day may include:\nUtilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long-term goals\nPerform accurate analysis and designing effective solutions to a variety of client issues\nWork directly with clients to address their issues and acting as the day-to-day relationship contact\nWork closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues\nDevelop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution\nTeam with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls\nMeet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)\nOther duties as assigned\nYou have the following technical skills or qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance \nMinimum 2+ years of work-related experience in financial management and/or consulting or experience \nExperience working in financial services in a consulting capacity, with a focus on finance\nStrong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases\nProcess analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation\nWorking knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking\nKnowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice\nExcellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills\nCan travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 30%\nThe base salary range for this position is between $119k- 132k. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
