Specific to client interaction, you will play a key role in the delivery of engagements and work with chief operating officers, chief financial officers, and other senior client leaders to demonstrate your subject matter expertise as we seek to help them implement solutions in support of their broader strategy and goal of creating value.\nYour day-to-day may include:\nAssist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases\nResponsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals\nConfigure applications and conduct iterative unit testing\nHelp to create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption \nConduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment\nProvide post-production support\nAssist with full life cycle implementations\nMeet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)\nOther duties as assigned\nYou have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, MIS or related field required. A Master’s degree is a plus. \n2+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.\nMinimum of 2 full life cycle implementations of Workday.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics and reports.\nExperience with ERP Application Integration & back-end data connectivity applications.\nExperience installing/configuring/implementing Workday Applications.\nKnowledge of Workday ERP (Financials, SCM, etc.)\nProven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects.\nStrong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents\nAble to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives\nAbility to work additional hours as needed\nAbility to travel to various client sites as needed on short notice\nTravel percentage: up to 40%\nThe base salary range for this position is between $169,280 and $226,412. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
