We are a team of dedicated Engineers and Designers with an average of 7 years’ tenure at Grantek. The vast majority of our employees have started off their careers at Grantek and have grown into successful senior team members who are integral to our client's manufacturing processes.\n Grantek is looking for a Business Systems Developer to design, build, and maintain the internal applications, integrations, and automation workflows that support our global operations. This new role will work across IT, Platform Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Business Process teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient internal digital solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain internal business applications, workflows, and digital tools.\n\nBuild integrations between third-party systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, Finance, PM tools) using APIs, middleware, and custom connectors.\n\nFollow Grantek’s SDLC standards for requirements, design, coding, testing, documentation, and release.\n\nTranslate business process requirements into functional and technical specifications.\n\nImplement secure coding practices and participate in code reviews.\n\nDevelop automation scripts, low-code workflows, and internal agentic automations where applicable.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve defects, integration failures, performance issues, and system errors.\n\nMaintain documentation for code, integrations, architecture, and system configuration.\n\nSupport IT Operations in diagnosing issues related to business applications.\n\nParticipate in testing and release planning for new features, upgrades, and deployments.\n\nEvaluate emerging tools and technologies that can enhance Grantek’s internal digital ecosystem.\n\n Technical Skills\nExperience in full-stack development (backend, frontend, and scripting).\n\nProficiency in one or more languages: C#, JavaScript/Node, Python, or similar.\n\nStrong understanding of API development (REST, GraphQL), webhooks, and system integrations.\n\nExperience integrating COTS systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, Finance, etc.).\n\nFamiliarity with Azure or other cloud environments.\n\nExperience with Git/GitHub Enterprise and version control best practices.\n\nUnderstanding of DevSecOps, secure coding, and software lifecycle concepts.\n\nKnowledge of SQL, database design, and data modeling.\n\nExperience with low-code platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate) is an asset.\n\nSoft Skills & Attributes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nClear, concise communication skills-able to explain technical concepts to business users.\n\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.\n\nCollaborative and able to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\n\nAdaptable and comfortable working in evolving technical environments.\n\nContinuous learner with a drive for improvement and innovation.\n\n We are committed to the principals of equal employment opportunity and to fostering a workplace where all Grantekians feel respected and included.
