& Logistics Specialist works closely with engineering, construction, facilities, finance, legal, supply chain and site operations to ensure technical equipment and services are commercially sound, delivered when required and accurately managed throughout their lifecycle. \nThe Team \nThe Asset & Logistics team supports Data Center Engineering by coordinating the procurement, movement, management and lifecycle of equipment required to build, commission, operate and maintain data-center and laboratory environments. \nWorking closely with technical and operational teams, the team helps ensure equipment is available when needed, supplier and logistics issues are resolved effectively, asset information is accurate and purchasing activities support infrastructure delivery. \nResponsibilities and Duties \nLead day-to-day sourcing and purchasing activities for data-center and laboratory equipment, infrastructure, technical services and facility requirements. \nTranslate engineering specifications, bills of materials, construction schedules and operational requirements into clear purchasing and supplier activities. \nReview supplier quotations, technical scopes, pricing, lead times, warranties, delivery requirements and commercial risks. \nNegotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, warranties, service commitments and other commercial terms within agreed parameters. \nCoordinate supplier onboarding, compliance reviews, confidentiality agreements, internal approvals, purchase orders and supporting contract documentation. \nImplement sourcing and purchasing plans that support project schedules, local site requirements and supplier availability. \nIdentify and resolve supplier issues that could affect cost, equipment availability, construction schedules, commissioning or site readiness. \nLead and support the Asset & Logistics team, setting clear priorities, coordinating workloads and helping team members deliver effectively. \nOversee equipment receipt, identification, storage, installation, commissioning, transfer, maintenance and retirement. \nCoordinate freight, receiving, rigging, storage, delivery scheduling and domestic and international movement of equipment. \nMaintain accurate asset records covering equipment location, ownership, serial numbers, purchase orders, warranties, service agreements and operating status. \nCoordinate equipment delivery and installation activities with suppliers, construction partners, commissioning teams and site personnel. \nResolve delayed, damaged, incomplete or incorrectly delivered equipment issues. \nReconcile purchase orders, invoices, change orders, payments, budget commitments and remaining balances, working with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies. \nPartner with engineering, finance, legal, facilities, construction, supply chain and accounts payable teams to resolve commercial and operational issues. \nProduce clear reporting and dashboards covering purchasing activity, asset status, delivery performance, supplier risk, financial commitments and infrastructure readiness. \nCommunicate risks, mitigation actions, decisions and resource requirements to relevant stakeholders. \nIdentify and implement practical improvements to procurement, asset management, logistics and reporting processes. \nCandidate Profile \nEssential \nSignificant experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, asset operations, logistics or critical infrastructure environments. \nData-center experience, with a good understanding of construction, commissioning and operational requirements and relevant electrical, cooling, rack and facility infrastructure. \nExperience leading a team or coordinating the work of others within procurement, asset management or logistics. \nStrong commercial and negotiation experience, including supplier pricing, payment terms, warranties, service commitments and delivery conditions. \nAbility to interpret technical requirements, equipment specifications, bills of materials, construction schedules and commissioning requirements. \nExperience managing supplier performance and resolving commercial, delivery and operational issues. \nGood financial and analytical capability, including experience reconciling purchase orders, invoices, budgets, payment records and capital commitments. \nProven ability to work effectively across engineering, finance, legal, facilities, construction, supply chain and other stakeholder groups. \nExperience developing reporting or dashboards covering procurement activity, financial commitments, asset status, supplier performance and delivery risk. \nStrong judgement, communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. \nProficiency with purchasing systems, financial platforms, asset databases, spreadsheets, workflow tools and reporting applications. \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, construction, operations, finance or a related field. \nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification. \nDesirable \nMaster’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, construction, operations, finance or a related field. \nExperience sourcing electrical, cooling, mechanical, controls, rack, hardware or commissioning requirements for data-center environments. \nExperience coordinating international freight, equipment storage, rigging, site delivery, installation and commissioning. \nKnowledge of capital-expenditure controls, statements of work, change orders, asset governance, warranties and supplier-performance measurement. \nExperience improving procurement, asset management or logistics processes across multiple
